RAPE AND OTHER CONVICTIONS SECURED

Today, after a seven-day trial at Wood Green Crown Court, Sally Mertens secured the conviction of Deniz Karaniev, for offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, coercive or controlling behaviour in intimate or family relationship, anal rape (three counts), causing or inciting prostitution for gain and attempting to cause criminal damage. Mr Karaniev will be sentenced on the 17thof October 2025.
