CONVICTIONS SECURED

James Dawes KC and James Caldwell successfully prosecuted a 10-week trial of a 17-year-old boy for three counts of attempted murder committed at Blundell’s School Tiverton, a private boarding school. The Defendant had claimed to be sleepwalking during the attacks and called an expert on sleepwalking from the USA; despite this the jury returned 3 guilty verdicts. James and James were instructed by Jo Pearce and Helen Phillips of South West CPS.
