ORGANISED CRIME GANG LEADER SENTENCED
Following the successful prosecution by John Ojakovoh and Edward Franklin, Jonathan Strogylos was jailed for 31 years at Isleworth Crown Court for being the leader of an organised criminal gang heavily involved in cocaine supply and importation.
The Metropolitan Police investigation and CPS review cracked the illegal operation through the encrypted Encrochat messages the gang members were sending each other.
The CPS will now commence a proceeds of crime case so the gang does not profit from this illegal activity.
