Today, after a seven-day trial at Croydon Crown Court, Sally Mertens secured the unanimous conviction of Ibrahim Ahmed for the attempted murder of his landlord. He will be sentenced on the 18thof December 2025. Sally was instructed by Laura Hoon, Senior Crown Prosecutor, London North Homicide Unit, formerly Senior Crown Prosecutor, Crown Court Southern Unit, CPS.
