ARSON CONVICTIONS SECURED AT THE OLD BAILEY

Following a six week trial at the Central Criminal Court, James Dawes KC and James Caldwell secured the convictions of two teenagers for arson with intent to endanger life and related knife offences. The case involved a complex investigation by the Metropolitan Police into the arson at an Indian restaurant in Ilford, which resulted in life-changing injuries for a number of customers. Sentencing has been adjourned until October.

James and James were instructed by Paul Goddard of the CPS Complex Casework Unit.
