SENTENCE OF IMPRISONMENT FOR MAN WHO DIRECTED SEXUAL ABUSE OF CHILDREN

Prosecuted by Toby FitzGerald, today a defendant received a total sentence of 13 years and six months’ imprisonment for multiple international sexual offences committed in relation to young complainants located in the United States. The defendant made live internet contact with children in the United States, one of whom was under 13 years old, and caused or incited them to perform sexual acts. He was also sentenced for possessing multiple indecent images of children and for an offence of possessing extreme pornography.
