Nick Worsley KC and Sam Barker successfully prosecute killer for shooting Gary Mayhew in 2021

Trevin Campbell shot and killed his victim after a party in a railway arch off Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, in the early hours of the morning. After an initial investigation, the charges against him were discontinued due to a lack of evidence, but advances in CCTV analysis, a 3D reconstruction of the moment of the shooting, and ballistics evidence meant that the case could be re-opened. With James Dawes KC advising the CPS, Campbell was re-arrested, re-charged, and finally tried for the murder. He was convicted after a trial and sentenced to Life with a minimum term of 30 years, having been prosecuted by Nick Worsley KC, leading Sam Barker at trial.
