FORMER G4S EMPLOYEE SENTENCED AFTER COMMITTING FRAUD IN EXCESS OF £117,000

Imogen Nelson prosecuted Kwabena Kissi, a former G4S employee, who kept his uniform and used his insider knowledge to commit a fraud of over £117,000 at Santander in Brixton in July 2022, before fleeing to Ghana for 4 years. Kissi was identified following an extensive CCTV trawl by the Flying Squad, which revealed that after discarding the G4S uniform, he ordered an Uber using his own phone number and name. Kissi was arrested when he landed back in the UK in March 2026. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months imprisonment.
