ATTEMPTED MURDERER SENTENCED

Sally Mertens represented the prosecution at the sentence of a defendant recently convicted of attempted murder following trial.

The defendant, who was of previous good character, was sentenced to 23 years’ imprisonment for repeatedly stabbing her lover’s wife.
