Jenny joined Chambers in 2010. She both prosecutes and defends.
As a Grade 3 CPS prosecutor she is regularly instructed both as led junior and junior alone. Her practice is wide ranging, including complex fraud and money laundering, serious violence and robbery and cases involving domestic abuse. She has a wide experience of confiscation proceedings and with cases engaging PII. She is trained in the handling of vulnerable witnesses and has been instructed to prosecute a number of cases involving intermediaries and pre-recorded cross-examination under s.28.
Jenny has appeared before the Court of Appeal both on behalf of the Appellant and the Respondent.
In addition to her criminal practice, Jenny is instructed by the Royal College of Nursing to defend in front of the NMC Regulatory Panels. She has also prosecuted for the General Dental Council. Her other non-criminal practice includes the representation of prisoners at Parole Board hearings, and instruction on behalf of appellants at licensing appeals at the Magistrates Court. She has acted as legal advisor to the Licensing Sub-Committee of Newham Council.
