Natalia is a highly regarded criminal and regulatory advocate with substantial experience acting as junior counsel and led junior counsel in serious and complex proceedings. She is regularly instructed in lengthy, disclosure-heavy cases involving organised criminality and complex evidential review. She is recognised for her meticulous preparation, strong analytical approach, robust nature and measured courtroom advocacy.

As a Grade 3 CPS Advocate Panel member, Natalia prosecutes and defends across a broad range of criminal matters and has developed particular expertise in cases involving extensive digital material, disclosure issues, and Legal Professional Privilege. She is frequently instructed in substantial junior briefs requiring mastery of large volumes of evidence, strategic case analysis, and collaborative work within large prosecution and defence teams. Her appellate experience includes a successful appearance before the Court of Appeal of England and Wales in R v Sakeen Gordon, securing the quashing of a murder conviction.

Natalia also maintains a well-established professional discipline and healthcare regulatory practice. She is regularly instructed in complex fitness-to-practise proceedings and is known for her clear, structured advocacy and ability to navigate sensitive, high-stakes cases involving reputational and career-defining issues.

She acts for both regulators and registrants across a broad range of matters. Natalia has been instructed as a Presenting Officer for the Health and Care Professions Council in complex final hearings and has also been instructed by the Medical Defence Union to represent doctors before the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service. She has extensive experience appearing before the Nursing and Midwifery Council and has represented a wide range of healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and allied health practitioners. Her work also includes representing clinicians and interested persons in inquests, including Article 2 inquests involving complex medical and legal issues.

Natalia’s background includes work at the Royal College of Nursing, where she regularly appeared in fitness-to-practise proceedings. She combines this practical experience with a strong academic foundation in medical law and ethics, enabling her to approach cases with both legal precision and a sophisticated understanding of clinical context.

In addition to her advocacy practice, Natalia has sat as a Legal Assessor for the National Registers of Communication Professionals working with Deaf and Deafblind People and the Ministry of Defence, reflecting her depth of expertise in professional discipline and regulatory decision-making. She is also instructed to represent students in university misconduct proceedings and welcomes instructions in this area.
