SENTENCES PASSED IN MURDER CASE

James Dawes KC and James Caldwell prosecuted 5 defendants over the fatal stabbing of a young man in Exmouth, Devon. After an 8 week trial at Exeter Crown Court, the jury returned 2 convictions for murder and 3 for manslaughter. 4 out of 5 were jailed yesterday with total sentences of over 70 years.
