DEATH BY CARELESS DRIVING ACQUITTAL

Mahesh Karu successfully defended a man charged with Causing Death by Careless Driving. The defendant, a 32-year-old father of 3, was charged with having caused the death of a 79-year-old woman at a pedestrian crossing, when his car passed through traffic lights and collided with her. Following a trial at Kingston Crown Court, including evidence of a forensic traffic collision expert, the defendant was acquitted.
