ATTEMPTED MURDERER SENTENCED

In September, following a 7-day trial at Croydon Crown Court prosecuted by Sally Mertens, Ibrahim Ahmed was convicted by a jury of attempted murder for violently attacking his landlord.

Yesterday he was sentenced to 21 years’ imprisonment with an extended licence period of 5 years.

Sally was instructed by Laura Hoon of CPS London South.
