ATTEMPTED MURDER CONVICTION SECURED

Sally Mertens recently prosecuted a case of attempted murder. Following a three week trial, the defendant was unanimously convicted by a jury. The defendant had advanced a psychiatric defence of dissociative depressive disorder following the termination of a pregnancy.

The defendant will be sentenced on 30th January 2026.
