Page Nyame

YEAR OF CALL 2021

Page Nyame is a highly regarded junior barrister with a practice spanning public inquiries, public law, financial and corporate crime, asset recovery, and complex criminal litigation. She is regularly instructed in high-value financial investigations, multi-handed and organised crime trials, confiscation proceedings (including cryptoassets), appellate work, and judicial review. Her casework frequently involves appearances in the Crown Court, Court of Appeal, and High Court (Administrative Division).

Page is regularly instructed in public inquiry and investigatory matters, acting for both Inquiry Legal Teams and Core Participants. She has experience handling large-scale disclosure, sensitive material, and cross-agency coordination in high-profile, document-heavy inquiries. Her public law work includes judicial review proceedings for both claimants and defendants, often arising from criminal and investigatory decisions where criminal justice, human rights, and public accountability intersect.

She acts for both the prosecution and defence, with particular expertise in corporate crime and complex criminal litigation. She has completed the Advocacy and the Vulnerable (Crime) training and is regularly instructed in cases requiring sensitive handling, including in the Youth Court where she has acted as an Assigned Advocate for vulnerable defendants.

In 2024, Page was appointed to both the SFO’s C Panel for Trial Counsel and its C Panel for Proceeds of Crime — one of a small number of barristers to hold both appointments. She is also a member of the CPS General Crime Panel (Level 3) and Proceeds of Crime Panel (Level 2). In addition, Page is instructed as Junior Junior Counsel on the Attorney General’s Civil Panel and undertakes public law and inquiry-related work for the Government Legal Department.

Prior to joining the Bar, Page assisted on post-conviction death row appeals whilst interning at the Public Defender’s Office in Las Vegas, Nevada.
