Tim is ranked as a leading junior in Chambers & Partners and defends and prosecutes in a wide variety of criminal matters. He is a grade 4 for the purposes of general prosecution work and the Fraud Panel. He regularly acts as leading counsel in multi-handed prosecutions and as a result is familiar with all matters arising under RIPA, PII and common evidential features associated with that type of case such as cell-site evidence. Tim is a member of the Rape Specialist Panel and has extensive experience in matters arising out of serious sexual allegations as well as kidnapping and human trafficking – having been instructed as lead counsel in both.

Tim is regularly instructed to defend on a direct access basis. Recent instructions include driving matters and charges arising out of the possession of indecent images. 

Other than general criminal matters Tim undertakes regulatory work for the British Horse Authority and local authority matters arising out of the Town and Country Planning Act.

Junior Counsel in a Gross Negligence Manslaughter.

Leading Counsel in multi-handed drugs conspiracy.
